Fine, I’ll admit it, I’m lazy, very lazy. So if the curtains are difficult to open, I just won’t do it. So I go to Wal-mart, they have really pretty but really expensive curtain rings, those won’t work because they are expensive, enough said. Instead I buy a few packs of small gold clip on curtain rings, a pack is under $2 in my area. Then I just clip up my curtains and stand there in amazement opening & closing them over & over & making everyone come in to see how easy the curtains are to open & close.
I’ve also just used shower curtain rings as long as they clip on, painted them dark brown and sponged a little black over them so they look like wood. This imitates the much more expensive wooden curtain rings that have to be sewed onto drapes, (Sewing, bah, like that will happen) plus they are so far up they look real. This is also great because you can use anything that is fabric for curtains without having to sew, a sheet, scarf, or just some pretty billowly sheer fabric, anything that isĀ fabric that want to see on your window, you can use. These are fast & easy no sew window treatments. Works for me!

I’m actually in the middle of making my own no-sew curtains right now for this house.. I stopped because I realized I’m moving on October 1st, whoops. I love your ideas, I’ll be sure to keep them in mind!

Actually, rubbing alcohol works for taking off temporary tattoos also, as well as baby oil!
