Decorating Advice and Paint Colors

I’ve been noticing that one of the big trends lately in blinds are Roman Shades. They seem to be on all the decorating shows. My mom made some herself, but as I looked over at the hundreds of yards of tape & hooks, I decided this was one project that I would never attempt; it was best left to the experts. I think roman shades are so popular because their simplicity fits well with the modern aesthetic, but they still give lots of privacy.
