Today I was looking around Martha Stewart’s website. Usually this just overwhelms me & depresses me, & makes me want to hire a team of people to come & take care of my house. However, I did a Martha Stewart project without even knowing it. The outside planters were looking a little tired so I painted them. Granted, I didn’t use an all natural powdered pigment, I just used spray paint. I couldn’t believe how expensive planters have become, even the cheap plastic ones. This projects cost me absolutely nothing, & I could choose the colors that I wanted to use. I used three paints that were very close in color to give the pots a natural stone finish. Now if I can only get it to stop snowing in May so all of the flowers don’t die. I bet Martha could figure that one out.
