One of my biggest challenges in decorating is organization. To me, this part is just “not fun”, & if something isn’t fun, I probably don’t want to do it. One of the ways I try motivate myself is to have everything I need to organize right at hand & make the process fun. An easy way to do this is to buy an inexpensive gadget like a food label printer that is fun to use & you will want to organize. It reminds me of he show “Everybody Loves Raymond’ when Raymond gets a new vacuum & is so excited about it that he vacuums the whole house & his wife yells over the vacuum, “I’ve never been more attracted to than at this moment”. Supermediastore is also having a DVD R Media Sale, which is a great idea for Father’s Day. It’s a lot easier to get organized if it’s a fun process.
Free Father’s Day Gift
One of Oprah’s favorite things of all times is giving a letter as a gift. I’ve heard her mention it several times. I know if I was Oprah’s friend, I’d probably be thinking, nice letter, where’s my car? However, I did this one year for Father’s Day when I was in college & couldn’t afford a gift, & it was a huge hit. I just wrote down some of my favorite memories & why I was so grateful that he was my father. It took time & effort, but it’s something people will save forever. I don’t know why it is so much easier to buy someone a grill than it is to tell them that we love them. I think we all need to take the time to tell people how we really feel about them & the best part is, it’s free!
Great Father’s Day Gift
I love to give my family home/garden accessories as presents, because then we all get to enjoy it. Once again, I’m a giver :p Dad’s are always tricky because they want really expensive things, like flat screen TV’s. Maybe next year dad. One of my favorite gifts for Father’s Day are hammocks. It really suits any personality because everyone needs to relax. I was just looking at Overstock.com & was impressed at how low the prices were, they had hammocks for around $30, & I have paid over $100 before. Definitely a great gift for Father’s Day.
