I’ve been wondering what to get my Dad for Father’s Day. It seems like ever since I graduated high school, I haven’t had enough money to buy him the gifts he really deserves. Lately, I’ve been spending a lot of time scrapbooking online. I even found out that I had an easy to use movie maker that already came with my computer. It’s as easy as dragging & dropping pictures. I’ve been using scrapblog because it’s easy & free but if anyone else has any other free scrapbooking sites, I would love to hear about them. It would be such a neat idea to make a digital scrapbook. It’s a personal gift. Plus, this gift can be absolutely free, & it won’t take up space in your house.
Honestly, I haven’t really been into scrapbooking before because it’s so messy. That & the fact that when I walk into a scrapbook store my brain just shuts down. There’s just so much too choose from & it’s all so expensive. With digital scrapbooking, I can try everything out & delete whatever I don’t like.

Allergies are one of the few health problems that I don’t have. However, this time of year, I hear my family sniffling & sneezing. I don’t think about allergies a lot because I don’t have them. I know, compassionate, right? I just take breathing for granted. It must be terrible to not be able to breathe easily. While I can’t really empathize with my family because I don’t know what allergies are like, I can be compassionate & understanding.
One way to do this is to try to have an allergy free home. A great way to do this is by using a vacuum that can remove allergens & dust from the air as well as pet dander. Bestvacuum has lots of dyson vacuums & other handy allergy reducing tools like air purifiers. As a non-allergy sufferer, I would still like a new vacuum. Most of these vacuums are light weight, which would really come in handy because we have a three story house. Plus, they are very stylish & I like all the different colors. Anything that makes cleaning more fun increases the likelihood that I will actually clean, which helps out all the allergy sufferers in my family. As Martha Stewart would say, it’s a good thing.

I sat down to paint yesterday for the first time in about two years. It’s just been too much hassle to drag all of my painting supplies out of wherever they are hiding. I think if I was more organized, & everything was more easily accessible I would have a better shot at it. Or, if I had my own special painting room where I could leave everything out all the time without having to worry about the mess. I’ll have to put that one on the dream list.
I hadn’t really wanted to paint, I was depressed to think about how bad I was going to be & how much I’d forgotten, as it had been over a year. I used to paint everyday. However, pretty soon I just got lost in the work & I realized that I had missed it without even knowing it. All this time, there was a part of my soul/mind that wasn’t being utilized. I was mixing colors & not thinking about anything else. I’ll post pictures of my finished project later. My main point is that I’m going to find time & energy for my creative pursuits, because life is so dull without them.
