The case for orange

Orange always seems to get a bad rep. People say that they don’t like orange, when they have never even tried decorating with it. Orange is my favorite color. I am the only person I know who thinks this way. However, if orange is so bad, why does it always seem to be trendy?

The 70′s: Harvest Gold appliances appeared in kitchens across the country. Orange was so relevant that they made it into an appliance color, they were that sure of it’s popularity. Pink has never really been a refrigerator now has it?

The 80′s: Peach was the must have color.

The Late 90′s: Terracotta

Today: A retro tomato soup orange seems to have come back into play in accessories.

I think people really do like orange, they just don’t know how to use it. I rest my case.
