A true test of friendship

They say that you can tell who your true friends are when the chips are down. I say you can tell who your true friends/family are, when it’s time to assemble furniture. When you have 73 pieces of laminate & instructions that have been translated into Japanese & back into English, who is there for you?

Who laughs about the phrase “Upside down the unit”. Who acts like you aren’t a total idiot for trying to save money by buying furniture that only comes with a hex wrench. Who convinces you to not throw the bookcase out the window? Who convinces you that just duct taping it together might not be the look that you were originally going for. That person is your true friend.
