Decorating Princess

Sunday afternoon TV isn’t the best. This means that I have the choice of bowling, golf, or PBS. I love watching the “Joy of Painting” with Bob Ross. I just love how it makes it seem possible to finish a painting in half an hour. Just for anyone out there who is wondering, it isn’t. Trust me.

Last Sunday, I was introduced to “Simply Painting” with Frank Clarke. I learned about his theory of “Have Some More Fun”. This means that your painting should develop by painting the horizon, then the sky, middle, foreground. He is one of the more enjoyable artists that I’ve ever seen. I’ve never tried one of his paintings, but I doubt that there is anything simple about it, but the show was much better than watching bowling.
