Decorating Advice and Paint Colors

I love sterling silver. I think of silver, or silver plated candlesticks as bling for the home. However, I really thought twice about owning silver on Saturday when I spent an entire morning trying to get a piece of jewelry clean. Saturday mornings are for watching cartoons & eating Captain Crunch, not for cleaning.

I was looking at the Stainless Steel Store & I think it’s a great way to get sparkly, quality home accessories without the high maintenance of silver. I was amazed at all of the different things that can be made out of stainless steel. They even had a stainless steel cheese slicer. Any of these items would make unique & affordable wedding gifts. my favorite item was a stainless steel “No cell phones sign”. It reminded me of Luke from “Gilmore Girls”. Stainless still is the low maintenance bling for the home. Pass the phrase on, it’s catchy.
