‘m more than a little late writing a post about Halloween crafts. Martha Stewart probably started her Halloween shows months ago. Then again, no one has ever confused me with Martha. So here are a few ideas for jack o lanterns if you are trying to put something together at the last minute.
The last Halloween event I went to had an assortment of funny noises & glasses & small hats. They had even gotten some foam kits full of teeth & eyes. It was an easy & mess free way to decorate a pumpkin.
Another option is painting a pumpkin with acrylic paint. This saves the hassle of gutting the pumpkin & you can use more color than with traditional carving.
I’ve been seeing a lot of decorative pumpkin carving. These aren’t supposed to look like anything, they are just supposed to be pretty so carve your pumpkin with a series of scrolls, s’, or polka dots.
