Turn your home into a castle on a budget

I was just browsing through craigslist & I saw an awesome cherry coffee table for $20. It would easily retail for a few hundred dollars in a furniture store. However, I didn’t buy it, which is unlike me.

I like a coffee table that I can put my feet on. Judging from the low price, so do other people. It seemed like when I was a kid everyone had a glass coffee table. I hated it because I was a kid & couldn’t touch anything. Really, a glass coffee table just seems to take up space. Yes, you can put drinks on it, but that’s about it. Plus, you have to clean the glass & what is the fun in that.

Hey guys, I am thinking of redecorating my bedroom to maybe a modern theme but I’m not sure where to look for ideas.

    Anyone have any thoughts?

Glass tables - I don’t like them so much; for me they are synonym with cleaning. No fun! They disappeared probably when the housewives started working and there was no one to clean them up :)
