Little things add up

I live in Utah, which is technically desert, but you wouldn’t always know that because of all the green lawns that are around. I personally like the idea of Artificial grass, because it doesn’t take any water, & there is no pollution from running a lawn mower. Plus there is the added benefit that I don’t have to run the lawnmower, which is a huge plus. The only downside is that it doesn’t feel the way that natural grass does underneath your feet, but it looks fine. Artificial grass has come a long way since the astro turf era. It really does look like real grass, oftentimes even better because there aren’t any dead spots. It’s a small price to pay for helping out on that whole global warming issue, which I think we all need to start taking little steps to alleviating a big problem. I think that we haven’t done anything because it is just too daunting, but I think if we all started doing something it would make a big difference.

Fireplace Fiasco

I love a fireplace, I think every house should have at least one. However, they can be a hassle, with all the hauling of wood, & the cleaning up, & of course the safety issues. I tried to light a fire once when the power was out in our wood stove. I just couldn’t make it happen, it took me two hours & ended up with a houseful of smoke, & no fire. I was so frustrated, I was practically yelling at the fireplace “I have a college education I can do this”. This had me thinking, there has to be an easier way, which is why I want to get portable heaters or at least a gas log which will take care a lot of my problems with the fireplace & be safer. This way I’ll still be able to use the fireplace, with a lot less hassle.

Easy Makeover

I’ve said it before, & I’ll say it again, the easiest way to makeover a room is to change the lighting fixture. I think of home lighting fixtures as jewelry for my house, I love how they sparkle. For instance, if you want to easily update your bathroom, consider new Bathroom Lights. People are often intimidated by lighting fixtures, because they look like they would be expensive, other things that go into a bathroom remodel are. However, a new light can range anywhere from $60 to $300+. It’s not a lot of money for the huge change it makes. Check out the new bronze finish, it’s one of the most popular that I’ve seen. It will make your bathroom look trendy, & classic at the same time. Plus, it fits into most every style of decorating.

Why didn’t I think of that?

I’ll admit it, I love a beautiful house, but I don’t like to clean. However, I have found that the right cleaning supplies make all the difference. For instance, did you know that there is a special cleaner just for leather? There is even a cool leather marker to touch up scratches on your vinyl. If you use the right products, it makes the job a lot easier, plus it keeps your furniture looking better for longer. Furniture is a big investment, which most of us will make once every decade or so. It makes sense to keep it clean & looking it’s best.

Instant Popularity

Popularity when you are a teenager can be difficult to come by. You have to wear the right clothes, talk to the right people, participate in the right activities. Or you can just skip all that & be the house in the neighborhood with the pool. I guess that still is true for adults, everyone wants to hang out at the house with the pool or spa. Owning a pool isn’t as out of your reach as you think. Blue haven Pools & Spas makes it easy to order, & has outstanding customer service. Plus, you save a lot of money & they even have a 99 day money back guarantee. Don’t forget all the pool supplies too, like cleaning supplies, toys & even fun vinyl liners.
