I think one of the most intimidating things about decorating is buying furniture. Oh the pressure, the pressure. There is so much worry over finding stylish furniture that you will love for years to come. It is a big investment.
You can now find Stylish furniture at FurnitureMinute.com & make your shopping experience a lot easier. I love how they have things organized by room, so the beginner knows exactly what pieces they should have in their living room. Even their rugs are organized by style. This way you can have a continuous theme throughout your home. You don’t have to sift through thousands of products & get a headache. It’s just as simple as deciding that you want to buy a contemporary rug, & there are choices that will fit your room.
It makes shopping for furniture a lot less intimidating. It really helps the average person shop for furniture & design a room by themselves that will fit their needs & tastes.

One of the few things that I agreed with when I watched “Gone with the Wind” was Scarlett’s attachment to land & home. Even as a child, I understood that feeling, it wasn’t over my head, it wasn’t boring, it was a very real feeling. I think most people have a very strong inclination to own their own Terah, a place that is all theirs that they can pass down for generations & generations. Such a place is real estate in Doraville . Like Terah, these homes are in the South, they are beautiful. They are homes that you will want to pass down to your kids. Plus they are more affordable than you might think so that everyone can own a modern day Terah.

I love curtains as much as the next person. However, there is something to be said for having a neutral window treatment. Window treatments can be quite expensive, so you should make an investment in them. That way you can add color & patterns into accessories & just change them whenever you want a new look.
Try a sleeker look for your windows, like wooden blinds. You can have these for years to come. Consider wood & faux wood blinds, shades, mini blinds, roller shades, or Roman shades. Have an installer come out to your house & measure your windows for a custom fit. You can even get free samples to try out what the material looks like in your room.

Lamps make or break a room & these are some of the most unique shades I’ve ever seen. One of the easiest ways to “date” a room is by having an out of date lamp. It’s a dead giveaway. So, I try to update my lamps every few years & it completely changes the feel of the room.
These lampshades are from a company called ArtShade. They make customizable Giclee lamp shades. You just send in your picture, choose a style & they put your image on a lamp shade. It’s as simple as that. You can either get a floor or table lamp. You could put baby pictures, family photos, pet photos, or even pictures from a recent vacation to really customize your room. You will have a piece that will be a conversation starter & completely unique.

Did you get a lot of stuff for Christmas? Of course, it’s the holidays. Now it’s just a matter of where are you going to put it. So you don’t end up like those people on “Mission Organization” or Clean Sweep” here’s a tip. My mom always tells me for everything that comes into the house, something has to leave it. It can be a problem if you have a lot of cool stuff. There are a lot of things that you need sometimes, but not all the time. This is when you might want to consider storage. Rent some space. You can use it for those goods that only come out when the In-Laws visit, like the monkey lamp they gave you for your anniversary. Storage-Mart.net is a local storage unit provider in Georgia, Florida, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, New York, New Jersey, and Texas. You don’t have to live in clutter.
